‘GRATEFUL’ PENSIONERS LAUD GOV’T $25,000 CASH GRANT

Pensioners all across Guyana on Monday received their $25,000 one off cash grant with the distribution continuing throughout the month of October, placing an additional $1.6 billion of disposable income in the hands of the elderly population. At the Guyana Post Office, more than 30 pensioners lined up awaiting for their vouchers and their 2022 pension books, many expressing the same sentiments of being grateful for the assistance.
