Creating Antique Emblems & Rococo Flourishes ~ Part 1

Hi Lovelies! Let’s talk about emblems & frames.. . Today we’re talking about my Top 4 ways to get started on your journey to beautiful antique rococo style medallions.. .

Number 1 ~ Become familiar with them. Print some out & tape them to your workspace wall or somewhere you frequent throughout the day

2 ~ Designate & Use a sketchbook specifically for this purpose

3 ~ Trace with your favorite medium.. . This will allow you to learn the curves & spatial variations quickly to build your muscle memory

4 ~ Spend some time with the images, cutting them out, using them in different areas of your sketchbook

Above All, be gentle with yourself while you’re learning something new & quite intricate! & Have Fun!
