Uganda is one of the first countries to deploy its troups in DRC. UPDF has been running operation Shuja to weed out all elements of ADF but also been at the forefront of fighting the M23.
However just recently, Kenya also deployed its KDF through the East African Standby Force.
The key point here is, Kenya always comes last and takes all the credit from the UPDF who do most of the ground work. Case in point is South Sudan and Somalia where the latter country has economically benefited that Uganda.
